Phil Pearson steps down as BTGA Technical Committee Chair after 25 years

A huge thank you to Phil Pearson, who, after 25 excellent years of Chairing the British Tomato Growers’ Association Technical Committee, has decided to finally step down.

Phil has served the BTGA with selfless commitment and given his time generously to advocate for the British Tomato industry and his fellow growers on many different technical topics, initiatives and challenges of key concern across the sector.

We gifted him some unique Tomato-inspired glass art from the Isle of Wight Studio Glass as a token of our sincere thanks!

Although we are sad to see him go, the Technical Committee's future will be in safe hands with Roly Holt (Grower, R & L Holt) and Robert James (Technical Director, Thanet Earth) taking up the reins as Co-Chairs.
