Tomatoes Triumphant at Horticultural Oscars - 06/03/2009 British tomato growers left the Grower of the Year Awards 2009 event in London last week with a hat full of prizes, taking no less than a quarter of all the awards on offer and winning almost every category for which they were nominated. Organised by the horticultural trade magazine Horticulture Week and Grower and sponsored by the National Farmers Union and Horticultural Trades Association, the glittering event saw entries from all parts of the horticultural industry in the UK. |
